Rules and Regulations for the 2017 Lethbridge Crime Stoppers Raffle

  1. Raffle tickets will not be sold to a person under the age of 18 years.
  2. Ticket sellers will advise adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under 18 years of age on a ticket.
  3. The draw will take place at 1 pm on the 12th of July, 2017 at the Lethbridge Police Service Headquarters 135 – 1 Avenue South Lethbridge, AB T1J 0A1.
  4. Raffle Chair, Lethbridge Crime Stoppers Board members including those in the same household are not eligible to receive raffle prizes.
  5. The minimum number of tickets to be sold before requesting a draw date extension or cancelling the raffle is 500 tickets.
  6. 1st prize (flight in a jet) will be drawn first with the 2nd Prize (flight in an Aerobatic plane) will be drawn second. Winning tickets will not be returned into the draw to be eligible for remaining prizes.
  7. Prizes must be excepted as awarded.
  8. All passengers must adhere to the rules and regulations of the aircraft they will ride in.
  9. Flights are subject change at any time due to weather, mechanical issues, or at the discretion of the pilot or the Lethbridge International Air Show.
  10. The original flight date and time may change at short notice, but will be communicated to the winner by Lethbridge Crime Stoppers. All winners have one year from date of draw to claim their prize.
  11. Winners must sign a waiver to accept the prize.
  12. Prior to the flights, winners will participate in a one-hour briefing which will include safety measures as well as description of what will take place during the flights.
  13. Age, weight and health restrictions are in place for these flights. Lethbridge Crime Stoppers is not responsible for any winner who flies against the advice of a doctor.
  14. Passengers must be over 18 years of age.
  15. Passengers must be in good health (i.e. not heart conditions or any other ailments)
  16. Passengers must be able to fit in the seats of the aircrafts.
  17. Cameras and video recording equipment are permissible so long as they are not overly cumbersome.
  18. Passengers must follow Air Show protocol at all times and be accompanied by an Air Show Official when walking to the planes.
  19. When the winning ticket is drawn on July 12, 2017 the ticket number and name on the ticket will be announced.
  20. There will be no refunds on tickets.
  21. Forms of payment accepted are: Cash, or online with PayPal. Only fully paid tickets will be entered in the draw.
  22. In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket. The licensed charity and the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission are not responsible for any dispute which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
